How it works

Food is the first thing a struggling household cuts. Rent and electricity have consequences that arrive quickly; a skipped meal does not. By the time a family asks for help, they have usually been eating less for months.

We deliver a monthly ration pack built around what actually gets used: flour, rice, pulses, cooking oil, sugar, tea, salt and spices. It is sized for a household of six and lasts a full month. For households in acute need we add a weekly fresh parcel of vegetables, eggs and seasonal fruit.

Distribution happens where families live. We do not run collection points that require a family to travel and queue in public — that costs them fare and dignity, and it filters out exactly the people least able to come.

Every pack is logged against a household record, so repeat support goes to families whose circumstances have been confirmed rather than to whoever arrives first.
